Infinity Ward and Activision released a new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare story trailer this week, showcasing some familiar, explosive set pieces and finally introducing fans to the villains played by Kit Harington and Conor McGregor.
In the trailer, we see Kit Harington’s character, Admiral Salen Kotch of the Settlement Defense Front, who looks strangely menacing while addressing the current state of the world and the ongoing intergalactic war.
Conor McGregor plays Harrington’s lackey, Captain Bradley Fillion, and fittingly our first glimpse of the UFC champion, he punches you in the face with that famous right fist.
The story revolves around a space war that occurred after Earth was stripped of its resources. Activision describes the latest installment as a “classic war story,” but the game will mostly take place in outer space.
Additionally, FOX also uploaded a video where Conor McGregor speaks at length about his love for the franchise and some of his fondest memories, including staying up until 8:00am playing Black Ops II after a grueling training session.
Moreover, the video provided us with a sneak peek into the filming of Infinite Warfare’s cut scenes.
McGregor is seen demonstrating some of that ruthless aggression that made him so successful in the octagon. On this occasion, however, he is covered from head-to-toe in mo-cap equipment, capturing his every movement and expression.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4th. Special editions of the game come with a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Infinity Ward continues the much-loved tradition of including the Zombies game modes in their games. This year’s rendition is a high octane, 80s inspired romp, starring Pee-Wee Herman actor Paul Reubens and David Hasselhoff.
