The largest ever global call to action on Climate Change is taking place in September 2014 and the People’s Climate Picnic in St Stephen’s Green, Dublin, is our chance to be part of this global movement.

On September 23rd, world leaders, including Enda Kenny, are meeting in New York for a UN crisis summit on climate change. On Sunday September 21st, millions will gather worldwide to send our leaders a clear message: we need action on climate change, now.

Stephen’s Green bandstand, the event is family-friendly, with live music, games, face-painting and more. You can expect clued-in boffins, acrobats and great craic as the Irish join our voices with other events worldwide. It’s going to be an exciting, positive and powerful day, so come along and be part of the action! The event will be a true celebration of people power, with useful information on how we can make an impact as individuals and as communities. Don’t forget to bring your picnic!
