You have to give Curb Your Enthusiasm fans credit, they’re a patient bunch. Considering that the last series of CYE stopped rolling way back in 2011, little to no details were to be found of a potential ninth series. However, that has finally all changed as the the powers that be over at HBO have confirmed  Larry David will once again grace our screens.

It’s early days yet so there really isn’t a whole lot in the way of news to discuss, but it is rumoured that we should expect to see CYE sometime later this year or more realistically early next year. HBO programming president Casey Bloys went on record to say; “We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” however Larry David himself probably summed up the past 5 years the best by saying; “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned”.

Details of the new series will be announced as they are confirmed.
