Gypsies On The Autobahn ‘Kelly’ Single Review

Gypsies On The Autobahn have released their brand new single and the official music video for ‘Kelly’.

‘Kelly’ is taken from their debut album Born Brief, released via Universal Music Ireland. The record charted in the Top 20 category. Their new single is the follow-up tune from previous track ‘Hidden’.

‘Kelly’ proves the band are onto something great. It is a highly anticipated song to hit the airwaves across the country’s radio stations and quite polished for a single from a debut album.

Styles like pop and indie showcase throughout the song mixing the two perfectly together. The songwriting layers the music soundly and tremendous work is heard throughout the new track. The rhythmic guitar sequence and dramatic yet haunting vocals make the listener want to get up and dance side to side like a scene from a preteen awkward movie.

Born Brief, their debut album was produced by Rob Kirwan (previously worked with artists like PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, Editors, Delorentos, Bell X1, The Horrors, 30 Seconds To Mars, Hozier, and U2).

Gypsies On The Autobahn are a four piece band from Cabra on the Northside of Dublin consisting Gary Quinn, Niall Mooney, and brothers James and Dan Smith.
