Venues across Killorglin will be set alive this June Bank Holiday Weekend with the return of the annual K-Fest Music & the Arts Festival. The festival, Ireland’s foremost for new emerging artists and musical talents, returns with a superb event programme.

It all takes place in Killorglin Town, a unique setting on the Wild Atlantic Way, nestled beneath the Mcgillcuddy Reeks. The festival runs from Friday, 3rd until Monday, 6th June 2016.

Music is at the center of the festival, with more than 30 live bands performing. It’s true K-Fest is the best place to discover new music and fresh Irish talent.

K-Fest music highlights include Otherkin and Saint Sister, who are both shortlisted on Pure M Awards for Best Live Act and Kerry’s own Ruth, who is shortlisted on Pure M Awards for Best Newcomer.

K-Fest also plays host on 4th June to the very talented Santa Ignace, the international award-winning classical pianist who taught in the Killarney School of Music.

The full K-Fest music lineup offers a broad variety of choice and includes the following singers and bands:

This year all gigs are FREE, with a *pay-as-you-please option, making it the most accessible festival in Ireland to great original music.

Says K-Fest Music Director Tim Clifford, “We are delighted to welcome some of the brightest emerging talent on the Irish music scene. K-Fest is proud to continue its *Play For Pay policy.”
