Marriages – Salome Album Review

Marriages - Salome Album Review

The new debut album Salome by Marriages is now available in any store near you. The album was released on April 7th I can assure you that this is an album that won’t be going anywhere for a long time as this album is no one hit wonder and I have faith that it will truly stand the test of time as a great and memorable album. Salome is the second ever album released by Marriages following the release of their first hit album Kitsune that was released in 2012.

The band consists of Emma Ruth Rundle on guitar and vocals, Greg Burns on bass and Andrew Clinco on drums. The three piece was recently formed in 2012 after former band members of Red Sparowes Emma Ruth Rundle and Greg Burns decided to start their own band Marriages with Andrew Clinco.

This alternative three piece truly know how to rock out with killer hits such as ‘Skin’,  ‘Southern Eye’ and many other awesome tracks just waiting for you to take a listen to and maybe even dance around your room to. The  band has a great sound that resembles artists such as ‘The Cranberries’, ‘No Doubt’ and ‘Letters To Cleo’.

If you’re into alternative, almost melodramatic and smoky music like the bands listed above then this is the album for you.
