Bandai Namco have announced that NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 has shipped over 1.3 million copies worldwide since its launch on February 4th in Japan.
The fourth installment of the Ninja STORM series released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One in Europe and Australia on Friday. Since then, fans have been rejoicing about the latest game iteration of the excitable blonde ninja.
The following is a breakdown on the amount of copies distributed so far:
- Japan: 80,000
- Asia: 84,000
- Europe: 550,000
- North America: 620,000
As a result, the Japanese based studio has sold 1,334,000 copies since its initial shipment. The developers have promised that players will be offered several limited special events as part of the game’s online multiplayer in the future.
Developed by the world renowned Japanese developer, CyberConnect2, Naruto SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the first in the series to appear on the new generation consoles. The action-packed 3D fighter provides players with the opportunity to relive the show’s epic moments through the immersive gameplay of Ninja STORM 4.
The series’ trademark one-on-one multiplayer modes return for offline and online play. However, CyberConnect2 have added a new Leader Change System, allowing players to instantly swap out their main playable character with their two assist characters.
NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 is now available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Australia.
