Making a welcome return to the Olympia Theatre, the musical stage show Stand by Me is back following two previous sell-out runs in Dublin. The all-singing, all-dancing show features over 30 musicians and actors that bring to life the story of Ben E King and The Drifters. With featured vocalists Damion Charles and Ryan King, who spent over 10 years singing in The Drifters, standing ovations are the norm every night. The touring band features some of the world’s best session musicians including the original recording artists from The Drifters’ Stand By Me album.

The Drifters, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, are one of the biggest selling, longest serving bands of all time, having sold an incredible 214 million singles and over 114 million albums worldwide. This is their musical history told through the music and anecdotes of the former members.
