They will also be jetting in some inspirational acts from abroad as to attract an intelligent audience with diverse tastes.

Placed in the picturesque countryside of Macroom, Co. Cork in the old grounds of the Rusheen Farm estate, the festival will be backdropped with walled gardens, ancient and managed woodlands, valleys, miles of walks, lakes and follies and tree-lined green fields. Like a musical fairytale.

Up on the bill this year is Blackalicious, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Eskies, The Altered Hours, Young Phantom, Jukebox Gypsy, Spectrum, Moody Roots, and many more to seduce the imagination and feed your musical soul.

It is not purely music though, Townlands 3 day music festival will be an explosive multimedia gallery, where artists from every genre can display and present their creations. There will be a strong family element to Townlands and an amazing childrens area, with professional staff, entertainers, circus skills and making workshop, a barrage of top activities.
